As the APAC Sales Manager - Dewatering, your entrepreneurial spirit and tenacious drive to succeed, will see you lead the Sales team to new levels. Your ability to develop strategic plans and role those out to the business will be seen through the new opportunities yourself and your team bring to the Weir business.
With a territory that spans across Australia, PNG and Indonesia, you will be able to demonstrate your customer service skills through your capabilities to drive customer satisfaction and develop stronger customer relations while delivering profitable business growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
Financial- Achievement of Dewatering Business Unit KPI's (financial and non-financial)- Assign sales territories and set sales quotas.- Prepare budgets forecast and approve expenditures.- Determine discount rates or special pricing plans in order to win new business while maintaining financial profitability.
Customer Service- Develop plans to acquire new customers or clients, through direct sales techniques, cold calling, and business-to-business marketing visits.- Increasing overall customer satisfaction.- Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.- Monitor customer preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts.
Planning and Training- Develop strategic plans to meet sales targets and develop sales tactics to improve success rate.- Plan and coordinate training programs for sales staff including Intercompany.- Directing all product marketing and sales both internal and external sales teams.- Fostering the development of new, creative products and services.- Participation in company marketing and product development activities.- Developing a motivated team that achieves superior results.- Improving the efficiency of the Dewatering Business Unit.- Contribute to overall business as a member of the Leadership team.- Communicating and facilitating market changes within the Company.
About You- Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Minimum of 5 yrs experience in a Senior sales management role with min 5 direct reports- Heavy Industry background an advantage- Dynamic and Entrepreneurial business acumen- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, interpersonal skills and executive presence- Well versed in SAP and Salesforce or similar CRM system- Strong collaboration & critical thinking abilities- Strengths in commercial and financial analysis- Experience working nationally and internationally
