Job Overview
The position of Technical Support Specialist focuses on delivering high-quality technical support services, with a strong emphasis on audio visual (AV) systems and network troubleshooting capabilities.
* Advanced Troubleshooting: Deliver advanced troubleshooting and support for AV systems in teaching spaces, meeting rooms, and collaboration environments.
* Ensure continuity of lectures, presentations, and hybrid/remote sessions through timely resolution of AV issues.
* Support the implementation and maintenance of Unified Communications services, contributing to positive staff teaching and student learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Desktop Support: Provide professional second-level desktop support across Windows and macOS environments.
Support the University's Managed Operating Environments (MOEs).
Resolve complex issues involving O365 apps (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Word) and general productivity software.
Requirements:
Experience with audio visual systems, network troubleshooting, and desktop support is required.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
