The Opportunity
As a Senior Business Development Representative (BDR) at InfoConsulting, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client portfolio by identifying and nurturing high‑potential leads. This position is ideal for a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in B2B outreach, who thrives in a fast‑paced environment. You'll collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and account teams to generate qualified opportunities that fuel our revenue growth.
This role offers clear career progression, with top performers advancing to Account Executive positions, where you'll take ownership of full sales cycles, manage key accounts, and drive strategic deals.
What you'll be doing
* Lead generation and prospecting: identify and target prospective clients through research, outbound calls, emails, social media, and networking events. Focus on mid‑to‑large enterprises in sectors such as mining, mining services, construction, engineering and service management.
* Qualification and nurturing: conduct discovery calls to qualify leads, understand pain points, and align them with InfoConsulting's solutions. Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities using CRM tools like Pipedrive.
* Collaboration: partner with Account Executives and marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns, refine messaging, and hand off qualified leads for closure.
* Market intelligence: stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform strategies and positioning.
* Performance tracking: meet or exceed monthly/quarterly quotas for meetings booked, opportunities created, and pipeline value. Analyse metrics to optimise outreach efforts.
* Client engagement: represent InfoConsulting at virtual and in‑person events, webinars, and demos to build relationships and showcase our expertise.
Who you are
* Proven B2B telemarketing, inside sales, or business development experience in ERP/EAM/FSM/enterprise software.
* Excellent communication skills – confident, articulate, and professional on the phone and in writing.
* Strong relationship‑building and objection‑handling abilities.
* Self‑motivated, disciplined, and target‑driven.
* Experience with CRM tools (Pipedrive, HubSpot, Salesforce) highly regarded.
* Familiarity with the mining, construction, engineering, or service management sectors is a significant advantage.
