We are currently seeking a Diesel Mechanic for our Townsville depot to join our growing operations, supporting freight operations across our network.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct mechanical assessments for diagnosis and fault finding in machinery ensuring efficient repair, maintenance and servicing to keep our fleet on the road
* Service the entire fleet including trucks, trailers, dollies and motor vehicles in adherence to our Maintenance and Workshop procedures.
* Identify issues, recommend solutions and perform replacement of brakes, suspension components, steering systems and major engine components.
* Conduct body building tasks, including welding and grinding of chassis or comb rails on flat top trailers
* Handle auto electrical work on all 12V or 24V systems
* Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues ensuring minimal downtime
* Order and replace worn or damaged parts, ensuring adherence to Quality Standards and Manufacture Specifications
What We’re Looking For
* Detailed experience as a Diesel Mechanic in your resume, working on fleet vehicles/trailers etc.
* Australian recognized Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic Trade Qualification
* Unlimited Australian work rights (no restrictions)
* Passionate about all things mechanical with an ability to think critically and creatively to help in diagnosing complex mechanical problems efficiently
* A meticulous approach ensuring every aspect of the machinery is thoroughly assessed
