We have a fantastic opportunity for an Accountant role to join our internal financial team located in Melbourne.
This is a full-time permanent role commencing immediately.
This role focuses on accounting functions in relation to financial reporting, taxation, auditing, insolvency, accounting information systems, budgeting, and cost management, planning and decision-making by our organisations and individuals clients.
You also need to provide financial advisory services cover budgeting, forecasting, performance tracking, and cash flow management.
Position: Permanent Full Time Hours of Work: 9:30am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday Salary Package: 77,000+super/per year Working Location: Melbourne Requirements: Master's Degree in relation to Finance, Accounting or a related discipline is a must; At least 2 years' full-time accountant, assistant accountant or financial accountant working experience in a large-scale company is a must; Fluent in English and Vietnamese; Solid MYOB EXO Accounting system, Traild AP system, Stripe payment gateway and Microsoft suite experience; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail; Excellent time management and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Roles and Responsibility Formulate and implement tailored accounting and budgetary policies to ensure sound financial control according to our regulation requirements also our clients' customized needs.
Prepare and deliver insightful management and financial reporting to support key business stakeholders of BOA CO and our clients including AUS expatriate, Medical Professionals, corporate Executives, Lawyers and Lawyer Firm, Property Investment, Business Owner or Entertainment Sport Athletes.
Provide timely reports and inform clients' stakeholders to assist them on decision making process in order to achieve improving financial management of the business.
Be responsible for conducting financial investigations in relation to business purchase or sale, mergers, capital financing and formulate a report based on the financial investigation results for clients.
Assist with half-year and full-year external audits.
Tax planning for high-income earners in the scope of fringe benefit tax, capital gain tax, investment and property tax and also covers the services in relation to tax deductions, tax compliance and advice and all other business and tax advisory.
Support the day-to-day accounting function including transactional processes and financial administration and be responsible for examining BOA CO's daily operating costs in relation to income and expenses; Utilizing our bookkeeping systems and real time support to assist our clients include cafes franchises, e-Commerce enterprises, sole traders, wholesalers, retailers, traders and more.
Ensuring the security of financial information and taking regular backups and the accuracy of financial and data in reports to assist higher management in taking decisions; Provide comprehensive business management consulting regarding professional financial and tax advice tailored to private companies and entrepreneurs in relation to launching a new venture, restructuring, planning for expansion, and operation.
Calculating tax liabilities, preparing and filing tax returns on time according to ATO requirements, and developing strategies to minimize tax burden within legal boundaries.
Liaise with auditors, conveyancers, bankers, and financial institutions, to support clients in financial and accounting matters.
Be a qualified advisor and planner with specialist knowledge across investments in both traditional and non-traditional asset classes to deliver clients a diverse range of wealth management and financial strategies regarding their fund's investments and arrangements.
Develop, implement, and maintain accounting systems, including MYOB/Xero and other software tools.
Manage and maintain internal accounting systems mainly including establishing a complete internal control system, monitoring and supervising risks, and standardizing financial activities.
Evaluate cash flow, manage budgets, and identify potential financial risks.
Ensure accurate record-keeping, payroll management, and adherence to Australian Accounting Standards (AASB/IFRS).
Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal postings.
