knowmore uses a multidisciplinary model bringing together lawyers, intake officers, social workers and counsellors, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander engagement advisors and financial counsellors to provide trauma-informed, client-centred and culturally safe legal assistance to clients. Services are provided through a national phone line and face-to-face services in key locations, supported by a comprehensive program of outreach and community engagement across Australia. knowmore currently has offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Darwin and employs approximately 150 employees Nationally.
**About the Role**
This is a truly generalist position, with end to end accountability for all aspects of HR. This is a very unique role that would suit an experienced HR practitioner, ideally coming from a NFP background. Due to the national spread of offices, you have the opportunity to be based in Adelaide, Sydney, Perth or NT and can also have the flexibility to work a 4 day week.
Reporting to the Director, Corporate Services and working as part of a small, team-oriented and high performing Corporate Services team, the HR Manager will provide expertise, advice and support to managers and staff across a full range of HR services, using effective partnering and their workforce knowledge and skills to work with business units to help them achieve their strategic, operational and performance goals.
- Develop a deep understanding of the portfolio and build positive working relationships with stakeholders
- Act as a trusted partner to leaders in the delivery of an effective, coordinated, responsive and stakeholder-centric HR service.
- Manage full employee lifecycle of our National team of approx. 130 staff.
- Work within the company HR system, ELMO, to maintain employee databases
- Maintain and coordinate employee performance reviews
- Provide guidance and information on company policies
- Work closely with the Director, Corporate Services on HR Projects
**Skills and Experience**
- Degree qualification in Human Resources Management or relevant
- Experience in managing full employee lifecycle and demonstrated experience in implementing process improvement initiatives
- Demonstrated capacity to provide leadership through industry and market changes and challenges
- Thorough understanding of applicable Employment and WHS legislation
- Highly developed computer literacy skills and HR specific software
- High level analytical and problem solving skills
- Collaborative approach to work
- Hands on experience of all aspects of the HR process
