We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing merchandisers, driving sales growth, and expanding our customer base within your assigned territory through in-store wins and executing a commercial plan.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and objectives within the assigned territory.
* Build strong relationships within your portfolio of customers within the Impulse and Convenience channel.
* Conduct face-to-face meetings with stand-alone and multi-site customers to understand their needs, present product offerings, and negotiate sales agreements.
* Collaborate with wholesalers and internal customer teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful sales outcomes.
* Manage a casual merchandiser within your territory.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business growth.
* Drive distribution, trade standards, and display building, along with introducing new product lines.
* Deliver on cycle priority KPIs.
Regional Travel Requirements
You will be responsible for visiting clients, prospects, and stakeholders to build relationships and drive sales growth. This includes:
* Monthly travel within your defined territory, up to 5 nights away from home.
* Planning and managing your travel schedule efficiently.
* Attending industry conferences and sales meetings.
Key Qualifications and Skills
Preferred qualifications and qualities include:
* Sales and/or FMCG experience, particularly in Impulse channel or supermarkets, including store or department management.
* Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and PowerBi.
* Outgoing, approachable, and passionate about sales, managing your territory as if it were your own business.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Willingness and ability to travel and stay away from home regularly.
* Valid Full Driver's License.
* Licence to work in Australia.
