A leading consultancy in Sydney is seeking a motivated Intermediate Hydraulic & Fire Protection Engineer to work on exciting and challenging projects. The successful candidate will be degree qualified, with 4+ years of experience in hydraulic and fire design, exhibiting excellent communication skills with an eye for detail and understanding of commercial outcomes.
* Hydraulic and fire protection design for building services across multiple industry sectors
* Ability to write reports, tenders, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
* Conduct site audits and develop quotations and engineering submissions
* Provide technical leadership and mentoring within the team
* Grow the business and develop strong, long-lasting client relationships
Requirements
* Hydraulic/Fire Protection engineer with 4+ years of experience and relevant accreditation
* Experience in consulting within the building services industry
* NER registration and CPEng candidates are preferred or working towards these accreditations
* Working knowledge of Australian Standards and best engineering practices
* Excellent written language and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work to deadlines and use initiative daily
* Terrific team player who can develop and foster positive and productive relationships but also work alone
* Ability to remain calm and effective in an often fast-paced environment
