Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide expert clinical services to support the delivery of patient care across various settings, including acute, primary, and community services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and maintain professional standards in Stomal Therapy Nursing as per Australian Association of Stomal Therapy Nurses standards
- Enhance self-care and empowerment of individuals with stomas through evidence-based interventions
- Provide pre-operative counselling, immediate post-operative care, and follow-up assessment and counselling for patients with permanent or temporary stomas
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. A relevant nursing qualification and experience in Stomal Therapy Nursing are essential.
