About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our kitchen team. This is a hands‐on role in a structured kitchen environment, supporting the preparation and service of high‐quality meals across à la carte and function service.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes including entrées, mains, and desserts
* Assist in daily kitchen operations and service delivery
* Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation standards
* Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety compliance
* Support menu preparation and seasonal menu updates
* Work collaboratively with chefs, kitchen staff, and front‐of‐house team
* Ensure kitchen cleanliness and proper food storage practices
* Assist during busy service periods and functions
Requirements
* Relevant qualification (Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)
* Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen
* Experience in restaurant, hotel, or bistro‐style dining
* Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
