Area Supervisor – Commercial Cleaning
Warragul, Traralgon & Drouin (Eastern Suburbs)
We are currently seeking an experienced Area Supervisor to oversee and coordinate commercial cleaning operations across Warragul, Traralgon, and Drouin. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in customer service, proven leadership skills, and experience within the commercial cleaning sector.
About the Role
The Area Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery, client satisfaction, team performance, and compliance with safety standards across multiple sites. The role involves hands-on supervision, direct client liaison, operational management, and Safety Culture Inspections.
Hours: 16 hours per week (Monday to Thursday) Pay Rate: $36.50 per hour + superannuation
Training: Full training provided
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning operations across assigned sites
* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure cleaning standards and safety protocols are maintained
* Liaise with clients to address needs, resolve issues, and maintain strong working relationships
* Manage and support cleaning staff, including training, scheduling, and performance monitoring
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
* Carry out Safety Culture Inspections
* Prepare and submit operational reports and feedback to management
* Assist with onboarding and training of new team members
* Manage inventory and procurement of cleaning supplies and equipment
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 2+ years’ experience in management, preferably within the commercial cleaning sector
* Strong background in customer service
* Previous supervisory experience highly regarded
* Ability to manage multiple sites and prioritise tasks effectively
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Friendly, professional, and solution-oriented email correspondence
Mandatory Requirements
* Current Driver’s License and reliable transportation
