Seeking staff for Afternoon + Night Shift (14:30 to 22:30pm & 22:30pm to 06:30am)
Ozcare has permanent part-time opportunities available for Care Assistants supporting our clients at our beautiful Douglas, Townsville Aged Care Facility on an Afternoon & Night Shift rotation.
Your Role
As a Care Assistant you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. Your tasks will include:
* Providing the very best care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plans.
* Assisting clients to develop skills to encourage their independence.
* Attending to clients' personal care needs, including showering, dressing and other daily activities.
* Assisting clients with their medication requirements.
* Working as part of the care team, using a holistic approach, to look at every aspect of our clients' care.

Role Requirements
* Be vaccinated against Influenza & at least 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check OR National Police Check (valid within last 3 years).
* Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Home & Community Care (or equivalent).
* Current First Aid & CPR Certificates.
* Good computer and mobile device skills.
* Applicants must have availability to work Afternoons & Night Shifts across 3 to 4 days per week.
