About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide tailored support to NDIS participants in their homes and within the community.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide daily living support including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
* Assist participants with community access, social engagement, and appointments
* Support participants in achieving their individual NDIS goals
* Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation
* Follow care plans and adhere to organisational policies and procedures
* Build strong, respectful relationships with participants and their families
About You
* Freshers with intent can also apply along with experienced Disability Support Worker
* Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or equivalent
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Reliable, punctual, and professional
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Understanding of person-centred care and NDIS standards
Essential Requirements
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration (ACT)
* Current First Aid & CPR certification
* Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle - International valid License is also accepted
* Full working rights in Australia
