Job Title
This is a permanent full-time position responsible for supporting the delivery and execution of environmental and social impact assessment studies.
The role involves preparing mine management plans, assisting in obtaining regulatory approvals, identifying environmental and social risks, and implementing corrective actions to address and manage these risks.
* Prepare mine management plans for both exploration and mining activities.
* Assist in obtaining regulatory approvals required to support exploration and capital projects.
* Identify environmental and social risks associated with land access and regulatory approval pathways, and implement corrective actions to address and manage.
* Support consultants to deliver on various technical and social assessment related studies required as part of preparing environmental approval applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in:
* Significant experience in a similar role, preferably within the mining and resources industry.
* Knowledge of Federal and Northern Territory environmental legislation and approval processes.
* Demonstrated expertise in environmental management and impact assessments.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate cooperation amongst a multi-disciplinary team of technical environmental consultants and project planning employees.
