About the Role
The purpose of this position is to efficiently handle first-line responsibilities in completing, reviewing, maintaining, and administering various business support activities for country banking clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform ongoing customer due diligence assessments for low and medium-risk clients.
* Outreach to clients via calls and emails for KYC requirements.
* Assist front-line staff in completing customer due diligence requirements by providing training.
* Regularly update SharePoint and other reporting systems as directed.
* Support businesses in managing risk by ensuring alignment with standardized approaches to customer due diligence processes.
* Collaborate with in-house risk and compliance specialists to ensure optimal outcomes with a focus on CDD & AML/CTF.
* Other duties as directed.
To Be Successful:
* You should have experience in the financial services industry, specifically in KYC and financial crime.
* A general understanding of AML/CTF legislation, Code of Banking Practice, and FATCA is required.
* Experience in a contact centre environment is preferred, along with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
* Ability to work across multiple activities in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment is necessary.
* Previous experience in banking and/or business or corporate banking as an Analyst or similar role is preferred.
* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is required.
