Job Title: Power Network Specialist
About the Role
Cable Jointers play a vital role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of power distribution networks.
* Work with technical drawings to prepare and assemble electrical equipment, perform jointing and related infrastructure tasks, adhering to industry standards.
* Joint and terminate underground HV/LV power cables, and perform high-voltage terminations on various types of switchgear.
* Install earthing/earth grids for substation HV assets, conduct testing and commissioning activities for electrical installations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
* Maintain and optimise power distribution networks, verifying adherence to installation documentation and regulatory guidelines.
This is a full-time position (minimum 38 hours per week) commensurate with skill and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance tasks on power distribution equipment.
* Conduct troubleshooting and fault diagnosis on electrical systems.
