MSI Australia operates a network of 10 clinics, a national telemedicine service providing comprehensive termination of pregnancy, vasectomy services from 25 locations and national family planning support. The role: We are looking for a part-time Registered Nurse, working 32 hours per fortnight across Tuesday - Thursday. Position Title: Registered Nurse Department: MSI Australia, Canberra Clinic Location: Canberra Clinic Reports to: Nurse Unit Manager Hours per week: 0.42 Hours per fortnight, 4 shifts per fortnight Duration: Fixed term contract (14-month, fixed term, part time maternity leave cover) Your purpose to provide safe, high-quality client-centred care in our clinics. Working within a team of highly experienced sexual health nurses, you will work together to meet to goals and unique needs of our clients. You will provide education and clinical care as well as assisting in managing plans of care on ongoing support to our clients after discharge. We are looking for: A highly-skilled, passionate, and empathetic nurse able to learn and work across multiple roles in a perioperative environment. Excellent clinical skills and ability to respond to rapidly changing operating admissions, theatre, and recovery environments. Experience with women's health, abortion care, operating theatres, midwifery and sexual health provision will be highly regarded. Your Responsibilities: Ensuring high quality and empathetic nursing care to patients are in line with internal policies and procedures and best practice to ensure the best patient experience possible is achieved. Supporting the clinical team to provide a high level of client care throughout their journey with us. Reflectively engage in continuous improvement and support the achievement of targets relating to client care.
