Civil engineers play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects. As a civil engineer, you will oversee the administration of construction contracts, acting as a client representative.

Key Responsibilities
* Administer construction contracts to ensure works are delivered according to contract requirements.
* Collaborate with design teams to resolve design-related issues impacting construction delivery.
* Work with contractors and sub-contractors on site to ensure works meet contract requirements.
* Prepare technical reports and specifications; evaluate contractor claims and variations.
* Provide technical expertise to clients and support projects; manage scheduling and budget preparation.
* Coordinate between disciplines on multidisciplinary projects.
* Conduct site inspections and coordinate with authorities to meet quality and handover requirements during delivery.
* Develop knowledge and skills in civil engineering (planning, design, construction).
* Maintain relationships with key clients; assist in securing and delivering projects through business development and client relationship management.
Your Qualifications
* Bachelor of Civil Engineering with delivery experience in subdivisions, roads, stormwater, or sewer projects.
* Experience overseeing contract administration for civil engineering projects.
* Understanding of current civil engineering technologies, design standards, and construction practices.
* Project management skills and well-developed written and verbal communication, including report writing.
