GRDC appoints three nominee directors to the AGT Board, with one appointed by the Board as Chair. This position aims to replace a director whose term expires on 31 December. The ideal candidate will bring expertise and experience in areas such as: Strategy development and governance review Financial performance and operational efficiency Australian crop production systems Plant science & breeding Industry knowledge and connections Commercialisation of R&D Field crop value chain & marketing All directors are expected to have strengths in: Business & commercial skills Risk management Financial acumen Corporate governance The Board meets four times annually, combining face-to-face and online meetings, focusing on strategic and business performance goals and risk management.
