A leading Australian business is seeking an experienced Finance & Accounting Manager to partner closely with its Sales leadership team during a key period of growth and transformation. This is a hands‐on contract opportunity where you will combine financial control, commercial analysis and business partnering to help drive performance across a complex, multi‐channel operation.
The Opportunity
Reporting to senior finance leadership and working closely with Sales stakeholders, you will be responsible for:
* Leading month‐end reporting, analysis and performance commentary
* Driving budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes
* Partnering with Sales leaders to provide commercial insights and decision support
* Building financial models, business cases and scenario analysis
* Improving reporting, governance, controls and financial processes
* Supporting strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives
* Providing meaningful insights to drive revenue growth and profitability
About You
You are a CA/CPA qualified finance professional with strong commercial acumen and a proven ability to influence stakeholders outside of finance. You enjoy operating in a fast‐paced environment and can quickly add value in a contract capacity.
* Significant experience in management accounting, forecasting and business partnering
* Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
* Advanced Excel skills and exposure to large ERP environments
* The ability to communicate confidently with operational and senior leadership teams
* A proactive, hands‐on approach and the ability to hit the ground running
