Contract Duration: 12-month

Hours: Full-time

Location: Brisbane (some travel may be required)

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery and oversight of complex infrastructure, planning, and asset management initiatives. This senior-level role will suit a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a background in managing multi-disciplinary teams in a government or large-scale organisational environment.

12months contract, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects with broad organisational and community outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage teams in the delivery of high-quality infrastructure and planning-related services.
* Provide strategic, high-level advice to executive stakeholders, including briefings, reports, and ministerial materials.
* Oversee the development, implementation, and review of programs, policies, and procedures aligned with strategic priorities.
* Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships across departments, government bodies, and communities to support program objectives.
* Monitor sector trends and implement best-practice solutions to improve service delivery.
* Support cross-functional teams and business units in achieving aligned service outcomes.
* Manage allocated resources (human, financial, and physical) effectively and responsibly.
* Undertake other duties as required, in line with the responsibilities of the role.

* Demonstrated continuous learning and self-awareness.
* Strong grasp of governance frameworks, compliance, and risk management.

Experience & Qualifications

* Demonstrated experience managing large-scale infrastructure, planning, or asset management projects.
* Strong leadership skills with experience supervising teams and engaging with executive stakeholders.
* Public sector or similar regulated environment experience is highly desirable.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of briefings and reports.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in project management, engineering, planning, or a related field.
