About The Role

Reason Group is seeking a Services Sales Professional who thrives on building relationships, opening doors, and shaping opportunities across the Australian Government. This role is for someone who can confidently represent our digital services offering, craft compelling pitches, and convert complex client needs into clear, value-driven proposals.

You'll be on the front line — engaging government agencies, identifying new opportunities, and positioning Reason Group as the partner of choice for digital transformation and advisory services. Beyond sales execution, you'll also be hands-on in writing persuasive proposals and presentations that resonate with decision-makers across Federal and State Government.

As part of our Client Account Services team, you'll build deep client relationships, nurture pipelines, collaborate closely with delivery, presales, and marketing teams, and play a critical role in driving sustained revenue growth for Reason Group.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and execute a targeted sales plan focused on Federal and State Government clients.
* Identify, qualify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across digital consulting and ICT services.
* Lead client engagement activities — meetings, presentations, capability briefings, and ongoing relationship nurturing.
* Write and deliver compelling sales pitches, proposals, and responses that clearly articulate client value and align to government procurement expectations.
* Collaborate with presales, delivery, and leadership teams to shape pursuit strategies, win themes, and go-to-market positioning.
* Maintain strong partner relationships to expand market reach, unlock new opportunities, and strengthen joint value propositions.
* Provide insights on market trends, client priorities, and competitive positioning to inform business strategy.
* Represent Reason Group in industry forums, events, and executive engagements to enhance our presence and reputation.
What Makes You a Great Fit
* Proven track record selling digital services, consulting, and/ or technology solutions into the Australian Government.
* Established relationships across Federal and/or State Government, with strong understanding of procurement pathways (e.g., Federal & State panels, Digital Marketplace 2.0, Cloud Marketplace, Software Marketplace).
* Proven history in selling services in digital transformation and enterprise platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, SAP, Oracle, TechnologyOne).
* Exceptional communication skills — able to write persuasive proposals, craft clear pitch narratives, and present confidently to executive level stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue targets and build sustainable pipelines.
* Skilled at influencing senior decision-makers and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate client needs into clear service offerings and value propositions.
* Collaborative mindset — effective working with delivery, presales, marketing, and executive teams to shape and win opportunities.
