Qualifications & experience

* Knowledge of tenancy management.

* Experience in developing and maintaining effective client and stakeholder relationships.

* High level of computer competency, including prior use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and housing or asset databases.

* Ability to prioritise tasks and manage complex issues under limited direction.

* Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

* Willingness to promote and contribute to a safe and productive workplace culture.

* A current Class C NT Driver's License and the willingness to travel to remote areas for short periods or overnight as required.

* A current Working With Children Clearance (Ochre Card).

Tasks & responsibilities

* Communicate with clients and residents from the Homelands regarding housing maintenance, municipal and essential services and other requests.

* Lodge all work requests in the housing database on behalf of clients.

* Liaise with the Housing Manager / CEO to determine the affordability and priority of requested works.

* Schedule works with subcontractors or with internal staff.

* Regularly update clients on work progress and completion.

* Maintain and update a spreadsheet of current homelands clients and their contact information.

* Liaise with other staff and the veterinarian to enable animal control program works to be undertaken on homelands.

* Travel to homelands to conduct field visits every 6 months to ensure that client needs are being met.

* Produce Homeland Reports after field visits.

* Complete all job-associated paperwork and maintain accurate records.

* Assist with general office duties when required.
