We are looking for a talented and passionate Full-Time Chef De Partie to join the PLG team at Stoney's Club in Bacchus Marsh. You will manage a designated kitchen section, supervise junior staff, and assist with menu development.
Stoney’s is located in beautiful Bacchus Marsh, Victoria, approximately 50km west of Melbourne, on the edge of the Werribee River, capturing the town’s traditional relaxed garden market character.

What will my duties include?
* Maintaining control and leadership in the kitchen during service times in your allocated sections.
* Assisting with the induction of new employees.
* Maintaining professional relationships with external suppliers.
* Preparing and cooking menu items according to guidelines and standards.
* Collaborating with the head chef to develop and implement menus.
* Ensuring all staff follow safety procedures.
The role may be fast-paced and involve tasks such as lifting boxes, kegs, or stock, standing for long periods, and using stairs.
What We Are Looking For
* Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
* Food Handlers Certificate.
* Experience working in a pub/bistro environment.
* Hands-on experience in all kitchen areas.
* Ability to follow and give directions.
* Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
