Our client is a large NSW Government Organisation who are seeking a Cyber Security Consultant to join their team.
The role is responsible for designing information security controls and technology to support the implementation of the organisation's cyber security strategy. This also encompass the construction and connection of security principles, methods, and models, all of which are vital for safeguarding assets from cyber threats
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with team members, business units and other stakeholders to develop, implement and maintain information security controls and standards in alignment with the frameworks and policies to ensure the security of information technology systems.
2. Provide expert input to the strategic direction of technology investments to assist in the development of the information security architecture and roadmap as well as maximise value for money investment.
3. Manage stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to ensure stakeholders are engaged throughout projects and project deliverables are met successfully
Selection Criteria:
1. Demonstrated experience identifying potential vulnerabilities, implementing robust security measures, and continuously improving the cybersecurity in a large complex organisation.
2. Strong experience in DevSecOps initiatives, working across multiple platforms and environments and supporting multiple technology stacks and government agencies.
3. Ability to design, document, diagram, and clearly articulate solutions to both technical and business stakeholders.
