Position Title: Tech Lead - Service Desk IT
Location: Australia – Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Perth
Description
Digital Biz Solutions Pty Ltd are looking for Tech Lead - Service Desk IT to work on some major client projects in Australia. The position will be full time.
Duties as follows:
* Manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure (VMs, networking, storage) for high availability.
* Provision and secure endpoints via Intune and Autopilot with compliance enforcement.
* Enforce device policies using BitLocker, Defender AV, and app control via MDM.
* Configure Azure Firewall, network segmentation, and private endpoints for IP protection.
* Monitor and respond to threats using Microsoft Defender.
* Maintain VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and secure IP routing across sites.
* Maintain Microsoft 365 security across Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams.
* Apply OS hardening, patching, and vulnerability remediation across all systems.
* Strong proficiency in troubleshooting desktop hardware, software, and network-related issues.
* In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft cloud technologies, including Microsoft 365, Entra, and Endpoint Manager.
* Solid understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and server operating systems
* Proficiency with networking concepts and protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
* Proven ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Microsoft certifications, such as MCSE, MCSA, or Microsoft 365 certifications.
* Must have at least relevant minimum 3 years' experience.
Salary: AUD$80,000 and above (excluding Super)
