Network Infrastructure Specialist
We're seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support the delivery of multiple infrastructure projects under our Program. This role involves designing and commissioning network technologies across corporate, production, and process control environments.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver network solutions
* Commission technology across multiple network domains
* Develop high-quality technical requirements, design documentation, and change management plans
* Lead implementation, testing, and back-out planning
* Support asset and solution transition into operational support
* Manage multiple concurrent work fronts with minimal supervision
Key Skills & Qualifications:
* Cisco CCNP-level experience in IP network design and implementation (certification preferred but not essential)
* Strong understanding of Layer 1 (structured cabling, fibre, environmental considerations)
* Proven experience with Layer 2 protocols: REP, STP (REP exposure is essential)
* Working knowledge of Layer 3 protocols: OSPF, BGP (basic understanding required)
* Hands-on experience with Cisco Firewalls: policy implementation and access troubleshooting
* Ability to write and present technical documentation for change advisory boards
* Experience with structured change management processes
* Mining experience preferred, especially exposure to site operations and infrastructure
