One minute our Consultant's are advising on a tricky termination, the next they are untangling an Award issue, drafting policies, or coaching a leader through a people problem they didn't see coming. This is hands-on HR, in real time.The roleThis role suits someone who is ready to move beyond entry-level HR and is looking ready to step into more responsibility, variety and complexity under the guidance of our senior HR team.You'll work closely with experienced consultants and directly with clients across:HR audits and reviewsBuilding tailored HR frameworks and documentationRecruitment and workforce supportPerformance reviews and performance managementManaging and supporting employee relations matters, including redundancies and terminationsInterpreting Awards, payroll and ratesDrafting policies, letters and practical HR toolsSupporting and contributing to training and development activitiesOur clients range from large organisations to small businesses, which means you'll be constantly learning and adapting.This is a full-time, office-based role in our Cairns office.About youYou're confident in the fundamentals and ideally and interest in group training. You don't need to know everything, but you can think on your feet and ask the right questions.You'll bring:Solid, hands-on HR generalist experienceWorking knowledge of the Fair Work Act and NESExperience interpreting Awards Confidence drafting HR documents and policiesThe ability to manage shifting priorities Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skillsAdvanced Microsoft Office skillsAn interest in developing training capabilityWhy HR Dynamics?You'll be exposed to complex matters, trusted with real client work, and supported to grow your judgement and technical depth.
