Pinjarra Rest Pty Ltd MOTEL SERVICE MANAGER A busy and well-situated Motel and Resort in Pinjarra seek the urgent services of a Hotel /Motel Manager. The Motel has accommodation rooms/suites, cozy licensed restaurant, dining area, outside picnic facilities, swimming pool and conference facilities. The motel also has facilities for catering weddings and functions and has the potential to house guests for weddings, birthdays, and special occasions.

The facility is currently in the process of expanding its restaurant facilities and opening additional services for weddings and conferences. The duties and responsibilities of the position are set out below but are not limited to the following: Supervising security arrangements, and garden and property maintenance Planning and supervising bar, restaurant, function and conference activities Observing liquor, gaming, and other laws and regulations Assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction Overseeing accounting and purchasing activities Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations May provide guests with local tourism information, and arrange tours and transportation.

Competitive Pay Package Indian Chef/ Cook Pinjarra Restaurant is looking for an experienced cook, who will make most dishes in house using quality produce, with experience in curries, tandoor style cooking. Must have experience in preparation/cooking of North and South Indian cuisine e.g. Chicken Curry, Goat Curry, Tandoori Chicken, Chicken/Goat Biryani, Daal-Makhni, Malai Kofta, All type tandoori Naans, Dosa, Idli, Vada, Beef Vindaloo.

The successful applicant must have demonstrated experience as follows and duties/requirements for this position will include but not limited to; Must have sound knowledge of Indian Spices, ingredients used for Indian cooking. Preparation of food in commercial environment using modern tools and utensils. Ensuring that the highest possible quality of the dishes is maintained at all times.

Maintenance and enforcement of hygiene practices at all times. Candidate must have relevant qualification and minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role. Ability to work in a fast paced al-la-carte establishment Highly organised, efficient, hard-working and proactive Self-starter, problem solver and natural communicator.

Have a flair with plating and presentation. Trade qualification. Team player, helpful, reliable and be prepared to perform all kitchen duties.

Positive attitude and great work ethics. Must be available to work weekends, public holidays and split shifts as and when required. Trade Waiter (070499) Indicative Skill Level: AQF Certificate II or III (ANZSCO Skill Level 4) At least one year of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.

Relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification. Tasks Include: Setting and arranging tables Greeting customers and presenting them with menus and beverage lists Taking orders and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff Serving food and beverages Opening bottles and pouring beverages Clearing tables and returning dishes and cutlery to the kitchen Removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables, and refilling and Replacing glasses Collecting payments for sales and operating point of sales machines and cash registers

May recommend wines to complement food Bar Attendant (ANZSCO 431111) Tasks Prepares, serves and sells cocktails, mixed drinks, bottled, canned and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and a variety of coffee beverages such as lattes, cappuccinos and other espresso-based beverages Cleans and maintains bar service area, coffee-making area and espresso machine Collects payment for sales and operates cash registers Promotes services and products Washes glassware and arranges bottles and glasses Taps kegs and attaches supply lines Replenishes drink dispensers, shelves and refrigerators Sells light snacks Selects and grinds coffee Only suitable candidates will be contacted.
