We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Electrical and Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our capital engineering group, you will be responsible for leading and executing capital projects at our Claremont Manufacturing site.
This role involves the full project lifecycle, from initial planning and budgeting through to installation, commissioning, and ongoing support. You will advise and support other capital engineering team members on electrical & automation decisions within other projects and collaborate with respective Reliability Engineers and Operational team members to meet project, maintenance and operational needs.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have experience and knowledge in technical expertise across engineering disciplines, industrial networking & cybersecurity, industrial control systems (ICS), regulatory compliance, electrical power systems, quality management, food safety, process knowledge, manufacturing KPIs, and project management principles.
You should also possess 5-10 years industry experience, preferably in the food industry, with lean manufacturing/continuous improvement skills, significant project engineering and management experience, and experience working effectively across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and execute capital projects at the Claremont Manufacturing site
* Ensure all projects are managed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance
* Advise and support other capital engineering team members on electrical & automation decisions
* Collaborate with respective Reliability Engineers and Operational team members to meet project, maintenance and operational needs
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
* Technical expertise across engineering disciplines
* Experience in industrial networking & cybersecurity, ICS, regulatory compliance, electrical power systems, quality management, food safety, process knowledge, manufacturing KPIs, and project management principles
* Lean manufacturing/continuous improvement skills
* Significant project engineering and management experience
* Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams
