Are you looking for an opportunity to join the Healthscope team?
A vacancy has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Orderly to join our team at Ringwood Private Hospital.

As an Orderly your responsibilities will include:

· Cultivating a hospitable and friendly environment for all patients

· Work as an active team member to support all work tasks

· Provide exceptional customer/patient service by safely transporting/lifting patients communicating with clarity and empathy, collecting and delivering equipment and consumables between departments / wards, and by restocking supplies and consumables.

· Prioritise patient safety by ensuring patient transportation equipment (including wheelchairs, portable oxygen and suction) is safe and in good working order, and by being an active member of the emergency response team.

· Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture and by liaising with the emergency response team, nursing team and other staff to create an experience that makes a difference.

· Demonstrate professional practice by working according to Healthscope's policies and processes, code of conduct & mandatory education.

· Maintain skills and standards of customer service and ensure patient confidentiality and privacy are maintained at all times.

With a focus on providing patients with full service, healthcare Ringwood Private offers a coordinated cancer support services for all patients by a dedicated clinical team.

Essential Criteria:

· Experience in a hospital environment

· Ability to prioritise and organise work, with minimal supervision

· Excellent customer service, organisational and communication skills

· A high level of attention to detail

· Provide exceptional customer service in a timely manner

· Worked in a team and a busy and high-workload environment

· Adhered to workplace policies and procedures

· ·Flexibility, reliability, and ability to work under pressure

· Certificate III in Health Support Services or equivalent desired
