Your responsibilities will include:
Located on the beautiful South Coast, we are seeking dedicated engineers to ensure aircraft and associated components are airworthy in accordance with prescribed aviation standards.
Responsible for the work they perform and are required to endorse all maintenance and General Aviation Task (if required) completed in the aircraft continuing airworthiness record system and supporting Maintenance Managers in the execution of maintenance and aviation related duties by providing Task Sign-off and Certification of Maintenance within the scope of their authorisation.
Your responsibilities include the following:
- Perform Task Sign-off of Structural Maintenance within the scope of authorisation,
- Ability to analyse and assess, and not proceed past any point in the task where Error Capture (EC) or Supervisor inspections are required,
- Monitor and Inform supervisor when they, or other personnel, are subject to any Human factors that may adversely impair their ability to perform maintenance or general aviation tasks,
- Monitor and only use approved and serviceable tools, ground equipment, test equipment and materials,
- Maintain Adherence to tool control procedures in accordance with Sikorsky Australia Maintenance Manual (SAMM-N) – Tool Control and local procedures,
- Ensuring that authorised data are used, and that authorised data is:complete, correct, applicable, approved and adequate for the taskin close proximity to the aircraft or component being maintainedin valuable condition
- Monitor and ensure all serviceability criteria for components and parts are met in accordance with the relevant authorised data before fitment
About you:
Essential requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain Australian Defence Security Clearance (visit AGSVA website for more information about Security Clearances)
- Good working knowledge and understanding of the requirements of DASR’s
- Sound understanding of Plan, Brief, Execute, Debrief (PBED) principles
- Good understanding of the effects of Human Factors in Maintenance
Special Requirements:
Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
