Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation and implementation of educational programs for individual children or groups, ensuring a holistic approach to their learning and care.
* Record observations of children to inform program planning, under the direction of qualified staff members.
* Support the direction of untrained staff members, promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
* Implement quality assurance measures, aligning with the National Quality Framework.
* Maintain food safety regulations within the learning environment.
Requirements
* Certificate III (or higher) in Early Childhood Education and Care, or equivalent qualification recognized by relevant authorities.
* A current Working with Children Card.
* A First Aid Certificate, CPR training, Asthma management, and Anaphylaxis certification.
* An understanding of the National Quality Standard and the Early Years Learning Framework.
* Demonstrated knowledge of promoting children's health and safety.
* Ability to plan and implement an Emergent Curriculum program, maintaining the Centre's philosophy and long-term goals.
* Past experience in using non-contact time effectively, providing evidence of the planning cycle, and evaluating program routines and activities.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, supervising and assisting activities as needed.
