Due to continued growth and expansion, our client is now seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead the next phase of their commercial development. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving strategy, performance, and long‐term growth across the business.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will lead the development and execution of sales strategies, oversee team performance, and strengthen relationships with key clients, suppliers, and OEM partners.
This role goes beyond day‐to‐day sales management, focusing on building a structured, disciplined, and future‐focused commercial operation. You will play a pivotal role in expanding market reach, identifying new growth opportunities, and positioning the business as a trusted industry leader.
You will work closely with executive leadership, influence key strategic decisions, and drive consistent, sustainable revenue growth.
Tasks Ahead
* Develop and implement the overall sales strategy to drive revenue growth across products and services
* Identify new market opportunities and expand presence across key industry sectors
* Design and execute territory planning strategies to maximise regional coverage and market share
* Lead sales forecasting and financial planning, providing accurate projections
* Manage pricing strategies and monitor margins to ensure strong commercial performance
* Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team, setting targets and driving accountability
* Conduct structured weekly sales meetings focused on pipeline, performance, and market insights
* Recruit and develop talent to build a high‐performing and scalable sales function
* Oversee CRM usage to ensure accurate pipeline tracking, reporting, and forecasting
* Manage relationships with key strategic clients, driving long‐term partnerships and growth
* Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and OEM partners, including commercial negotiations
* Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
* Provide regular reporting and performance insights to the Managing Director
* Drive continuous improvement across sales processes, systems, and team performance
About You
You are an experienced and strategic sales leader with a strong background in industrial or technical sales environments. You bring a proven ability to lead teams, drive performance, and deliver consistent revenue growth.
You are commercially astute, highly organised, and confident managing both high‐level strategy and day‐to‐day operations. With strong leadership and communication skills, you thrive in a results‐driven environment and are passionate about building high‐performing teams and long‐term client relationships.

Key Requirements Essential
* 7–10+ years of sales experience, including at least 4 years in a leadership role
* Background in industrial pumps, fluid handling, rotating equipment, or related sectors
* Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
* Strong experience leading and developing high‐performing sales teams
* Capability in sales forecasting, pricing strategy, and margin management
* Experience managing relationships with key clients, suppliers, and OEMs
* Proficiency with CRM systems and a data‐driven approach to sales
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
Preferred
* Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
* Experience in territory planning and regional sales structures
* Established network within the Australian industrial or resources sector
* Familiarity with industrial pump and fluid handling markets
