**The core capability requirements for this role are**:
- Contribute to the understanding and evaluation of various crime and community safety initiatives.
- Undertake research, analysis and review of data relating to crime, community safety and other issues to provide appropriate recommendations.
- Liaise with other agencies to maintain networks and negotiate access to information or data to produce reports, bulletins and briefs related to statistics.
- Assist the Statistician and Strategic Intelligence Unit to endure that outputs satisfy standards for integrity, accuracy and timelines based on quality principles and methodologies.
- Provide technical advice, information and support to clients and Manager on diverse issues.
- Prepare reports, answers questions to questions on notice, briefing notes, commentary and presentations using approved statistical standards.
The successful applicant/s will be required to undergo psychometric assessment, prior to appointment.

Shift work may be a requirement of the role.
