Mechanic
Salary: $38.68 – $42.44 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
Estimated annual earnings: $110,000 – $120,000+ (incl. super).
* Tool Allowance: $17.90 payable weekly

Role Responsibilities
* Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble fleet, ensuring safety, quality and Busways standards.
* Maintain all company vehicles and assets per manufacturer guidelines.
* Perform maintenance work according to company procedures.
* Attend breakdowns and perform field related mechanical repairs.
* Communicate safety or maintenance issues effectively.
* Adhere to all work health & safety requirements.
* Maintain clean workshop practices.
* Report and repair all accident damage as required.
* Perform ad‐hoc tasks and other duties as directed.
Qualifications
* Relevant trade qualifications (MVTC) essential.
* Certificate III in commercial vehicle mechanical technology or above; Certificate III in light vehicle mechanical technology with 4‐5 years post‐apprenticeship experience may be considered.
* Experience in service and maintenance of vehicles.
* Adherence to WHS regulations and company policies.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience working in a team environment on daily maintenance and repair schedules.
* Proactive approach with drive for continuous improvement.
* Physically fit to carry out role duties.
* Willingness to undergo pre‐employment medical check and workers with children check.
* Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or unrestricted working rights in Australia.
* Current unrestricted Australian driver's licence issued by relevant state.
Preferred Qualifications
* Medium Rigid (MR) or above Australian driver's licence.
* Heavy vehicle diesel mechanic experience (training provided).
