Direct Access and Equipment is a Tasmanian family owned hire company that requires the services of a Yardperson/Tilt Tray Driver to join our Hobart team due to a restructure and expansion within the business. Preference to anyone with some experience in tilt tray operation and minor mechanical knowledge would also be an advantage, however is not essential to join us in this fast paced industry that is always evolving and never boring.
Our yardperson will be responsible for loading/unloading our customers, cleaning machines, conducting pre hire checks and some minor mechanical repairs as required, along with deliveries of our equipment and back up tilt tray work.
This casual position is available for an immediate start for the right applicant, and with our business growing fast, this could soon become a full time position.
The successful applicant will have a full drivers licence including medium rigid truck licence, along with a fork lift or EWP licence would also be an advantage. You must have the ability to work autonomously in a small team environment, and willing to learn and share knowledge with other staff within the company.
The successful applicant will receive both comprehensive inhouse training on our equipment range along with back up support from manufacturers if required.
