About the Role
Northern Beaches Hospital expanded in 2024 and opened a further 30 bed in-patient ward (5D). Ward 5D is a dynamic mix of both public and private medical and surgical care. This is a rare and exciting chance to be part of a strong team with a unique model of care.
Assistant in Nursing
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist nurses or hospital staff in carrying out patient care duties.
- Work as part of the health care team; practice in accordance with state legislation and within the designated scope of practice parameters
- Assess patients using therapeutic skills
Essential Criteria
- Certificate III/IV (from an approved training provider) in Community and Health Services, Personal Carer, or equivalent.
- Excellent ability to plan and prioritise work.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Previous experience as an Assistant in Nursing desired.
