Role Description
Accounting and finance are highly competitive fields, and employers are looking for graduates who can apply their knowledge in real workplace environments. As an Accounting & Finance Intern, you'll gain hands‐on experience supporting financial operations, reporting, and analysis within Australian organisations. Typical tasks may include:
* Assisting with accounts payable and receivable processes
* Supporting bank reconciliations and journal entries
* Preparing financial reports, spreadsheets, and documentation
* Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
* Supporting audits, compliance checks, and financial record‐keeping
* Conducting financial and business research to support decision‐making
* Working with accounting systems such as Xero, MYOB, or Excel‐based tools
The Ideal Candidate
As this is an internship role, we welcome applications from university students and recent graduates. The following knowledge and skills will help you succeed:
* Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
* Familiarity with finance concepts such as budgeting, forecasting, or analysis
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data handling
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
