About the Role
Our client is seeking a agile and motivated Architectural Specifier to join their Brisbane team, focusing on gypsum wall and ceiling systems across major commercial projects. This technical role involves working closely with architects, project architects, BIM managers, and interior designers to support specifications in areas such as fire, acoustics, and thermal performance. While technical knowledge is an advantage, full training and engineering support are provided.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, and project teams across major commercial projects.
Promote gypsum products and, where relevant, insulation systems.
Identify and track key projects in Brisbane, ensuring products are specified.
Provide technical guidance and solutions, supported by engineering team and training resources.
Represent client at industry events, presentations, and client meetings.
Manage your own schedule with flexibility, while collaborating with the Brisbane office and wider specification team nationally.
Undertake occasional regional travel (Townsville, Cairns, Gold Coast).
About You
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a client-facing, technical, or business development role.
Background in architecture, interiors, construction, or sales (BDM experience welcome).
Solid communication and relationship-building skills with an ability to engage at all levels.
Energetic, proactive, and adaptable with a genuine interest in the design and construction industry.
Networks with major studios are advantageous but not essential.
