Position Purpose
Reporting to the Coordinator – Occupational Safety, Health and Injury, the Employee Wellbeing Business Partner develops, deploys, and manages programs that maintain employees' health, safety, and fitness for work. This role oversees pre- and post-employment assessments, injury management, and return-to-work programs, liaising with managers, medical professionals, insurers, and regulatory bodies.
The Opportunity
As the Employee Wellbeing Business Partner, you will:
* Lead development & implementation of the organisation's wellbeing programs
* Oversee pre- & post-employment health assessments and drug/alcohol testing
* Review medical declarations & pre-employment reports for fitness recommendations
* Coordinate and administer Workers Compensation claims and RTW programs
* Analyse injury data to identify risks and develop preventative initiatives
* Conduct ergonomic assessments across office & home environments
* Develop and deliver employee wellbeing & safety training (online & face‐to‐face)
* Liaise with internal managers and external stakeholders (WorkSafe, insurers, contractors)
* Support compliance with WHS legislation & organisational policies
* Prepare reports on performance, incidents, and program outcomes
About You
You will be successful in this role if you:
* Releavent qualifications in Work Health & Safety, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or similar
* Demonstrated experience in employee wellbeing, WHS, or injury management
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of Workers Compensation and WHS legislation
* Can interpret industrial and health-related legislation with confidence
* Possess excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
* Have experience developing and delivering wellbeing & safety programs
* Are proactive, solution‐focused, and highly organised
* Can analyse incidents and reports to implement practical improvements
* Understand psychosocial aspects of workplace health and safety
* Hold current First Aid certification or willing to obtain and C Class driver's license
