Provide clinical expertise in the Neurostimulation Suite. Participate in a cross section of committees as a medical advisor, support colleagues, junior doctors and medical students and demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Liaise with external care providers as required to provide a safe transfer of care.This role is permanent part-time 28.5 hours per week.The PositionManage psychiatric emergencies in accordance with standard procedures and within the legal framework of the Mental Health Act.Formulate a management plan for the patient in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team, appropriate to the level of risk and presenting problems.Consult and collaborate with colleagues and other health professionals regarding management including general practitioners, family and carersParticipate and provide clinical leadership in effective discharge of inpatients, either from the services or to appropriate ongoing management programs.Engage in weekly case conference in person or via telephone during business hours.Complete documentation for health funds, insurance companies as per the agency specifies.
