Zone 50 Engineering Surveys perform a variety of Engineering Surveying work across multiple disciplines including Bulk Civils, Roadworks and Construction.
We have a strong focus on surveyor support, training and wellbeing.
We are seeking an experienced surveyor to join our team who can work autonomously when needed, problem solve issues and communicate well within our own organisation and with our clients.
Our projects include Metro, DIDO and FIFO arrangements to give flexibility to suit our surveyors' preferences for where they like to work.
Overseas applicants are not being considered.
Qualifications & experience
In order to be successful in this role and future roles you will need the following:
- Degree or Diploma in Surveying.
- A technical understanding of Surveying Principles.
- Experience in concrete construction, road construction, survey control establishment, earthworks and machine control support will be highly regarded.
- An ability to build sound working relationships with clients.
- Excellent attention to detail and great problem-solving skills. Plan your tasks for successful outcomes.
- 12D, Leica and/or Carlson experience desirable, training will be provided on equipment and software.
Tasks & responsibilities
At Zone 50 you will be required to:
- Undertake high quality surveying tasks as required.
- Communicate and collaborate with Zone 50 colleagues and client supervisors to ensure safe, timely and precise surveying service delivery.
- Have a positive attitude towards work, help support "the team" and strive for high quality outcomes.
