The Opportunity
Join our vibrant and growing team at Greenslopes Private Hospital as a Patient Care Assistant! We are actively looking for motivated individuals to support our fast-paced, 30-bed surgical urology and gynaecology ward.
In this position, you will work under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager and clinical team leaders to provide direct physical support to patients throughout their stay, aiding Nurses and Medical professionals in delivering exceptional care.
Skills And Experience
To excel in this position, you will possess a genuine passion for care and a strong commitment to providing customer-focused service at the highest standard.
Your outstanding communication and interpersonal skills will be instrumental in thriving within our team-oriented environment and fostering positive relationships with colleagues, patients and their families.
* Holds a Certificate III in Health Services or Aged Care or current enrolment in a Diploma / Bachelor in Nursing
* Recent acute hospital experience in a similar position is desirable
* Moderate understanding of medical terminology
* Sound computer skills
* Ability to work in a team environment and independently as required
