UAC is seeking a proactive and skilled People and Culture Coordinator to support the delivery of strategic people initiatives and help foster an inclusive, high-performing workplace culture.About the RoleAs the People and Culture Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in delivering end-to-end HR services, supporting organisation-wide initiatives, and contributing to continuous improvement across all aspects of the employee lifecycle. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with solid HR experience who is ready to apply their skills more broadly, partner with stakeholders, and drive meaningful outcomes in a purpose-driven organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Onboarding – Manage recruitment processes, create adverts, coordinate interviews, and deliver seamless onboarding experiences.Employee Lifecycle – Manage end-to-end processes including onboarding, offboarding, contract changes, and supporting probation cycles.Stakeholder Support – Be the first point of contact for HR enquiries, providing timely, policy-aligned advice and escalating complex matters appropriately.Culture & Engagement – Coordinate and deliver engagement and wellbeing initiatives that enhance workplace culture and staff experience.HR Operations – Maintain HR systems and documentation, ensure compliance with policy and legislative requirements, and support audit readiness.Project & Strategy Support – Contribute to HR projects, research and data analysis, and support the implementation of the People and Culture strategy.What We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for a capable and motivated HR professional who brings:Demonstrated experience across the employee lifecycle, particularly recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to support stakeholders and handle sensitive matters discreetly.High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities.A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset and the initiative to identify opportunities for improvement.Experience working with HRIS and HR documentation processes (experience with compliance frameworks is a plus).A strong interest in contributing to strategic HR initiatives and broader organisational outcomes.Why Join UAC?At UAC, we’re more than just Australia’s largest tertiary admissions centre—we’re an organisation that values innovation, excellence, and collaboration.
