About the Role
This is a dynamic position that combines event coordination with marketing and promotions. You’ll work closely with our Functions team to plan and deliver a wide range of events — from large ticketed shows to Club-run events such as themed nights and community celebrations. On the marketing side, you’ll be responsible for keeping our members and community engaged across multiple platforms. From social media campaigns and digital updates to posters, advertising, and membership promotions — you’ll be the driving force behind the Club’s public image. This role is 3 days per week minimum, with potential for more.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and promote events, entertainment, and promotions.
- Create eye-catching promotional materials and campaigns (digital and print).
- Manage advertising across social media, local press, radio, and in-venue channels.
- Update and maintain Club communications, including newsletters, website content, and signage.
- Work with local organisations and businesses to grow sponsorships and member perks.
- Monitor results of campaigns, memberships, and promotions to improve engagement.
- Assist with entertainment bookings and Club promotional activities.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Creative with strong communication skills.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident using design platforms (Canva or similar).
- Experienced in marketing, promotions, or event coordination.
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects and deadlines.
- Passionate about creating fun, engaging experiences for our members and community.
