About the Role
The focus of the classroom teacher is on the planning, preparation and delivery of programs to achieve specific student outcomes. The successful applicant will teach across a range of year levels and subjects, with a core focus on VCE Business Studies (Units 1 & 2), and will be accountable for the effective delivery of their programs. The classroom teacher utilises critical reflection to improve knowledge and skills to better engage students and enhance learning outcomes.
An integral aspect of the role is contributing to a values-based educational environment and supporting the pastoral care of students, including responsibilities as a Homeroom Teacher.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging VCE Business lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum and VCAA Study Design
* Create a classroom culture that encourages critical thinking, curiosity and meaningful dialogue
* Provide timely, constructive assessment and feedback to support student progress
* Contribute to curriculum development within the Business faculty
* Participate actively in the spiritual, pastoral and co-curricular life of the College
You will have:
* Strong knowledge and experience teaching VCE Business Studies (Units 1 & 2)
* Ability to plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective teaching programs
* Capacity to motivate and support students to achieve strong academic outcomes in VCE
* Confidence teaching across a broad Commerce/Humanities load, including Business, Economics and junior subjects
* Ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning programs
* Commitment to reflective teaching practice and ongoing professional development
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive student relationships
* Willingness to contribute to the pastoral care of students, including Homeroom responsibilities
* Alignment with and support for a values-based educational environment
