Job Description
* Step into a senior role shaping finance for a growing construction group.
* Own cashflow, AP & P&L with real impact under an experienced Group FC.
* Prepare and review financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable functions efficiently.
* Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
* Provide support during audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and property industry regulations.
* Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency within the finance team.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Qualifications
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Proficiency in financial software and accounting systems. Using JobPac and Cheops – experience using this would be a stand out.
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Experience in the property industry or a similar sector.
* Solid understanding of accounting principles and standards.
* Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
* The ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
* A proactive approach to problem‐solving and process improvement.
