Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Occupational Therapist, based in Werribee, VIC, with opportunities for remote work. The Occupational Therapist will work closely with neurodivergent children to assess their needs, develop tailored therapy plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions focusing on their motor, sensory, and self-regulation skills. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with families and educators, monitoring progress, and maintaining detailed records to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Occupational Therapy practices, including assessment, treatment planning, and intervention
* Strong skills in verbal and written Communication and the ability to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
* Experience and passion for working with children, particularly in Pediatrics
* Current occupational therapy registration in Australia (AHPRA)
* Commitment to a neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based therapeutic approach
* Prior experience in a similar role is an asset but not mandatory
