Domestic Assistant – CEN – Mundaring and Surrounds – WA
We're recruiting experienced Domestic Assistants for a permanent part-time role offering 55 hours per fortnight, mainly needed Monday-Friday between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.
Applicants must live in the following areas: Bickley, Beechina, Boya, Carmel, Chidlow, Darlington, Forrestfield, Glen Forrest, Gooseberry Hill, Greenmount, Gorrie, Guildford, Hackets Gully, Hazelmere, Helena Valley, High Wycombe, Hovea, Mundaring, Mahogany Creek, Mt Helena, Kalamunda, Koongamia, Lesmurdie, Maidavale, Malmalling, Parkerville, Pauls Valley, Pickering Brook, Piesse Brook, Reservoir, Sawyers Valley, South Guildford, Stoneville, Walliston, Woorooloo.
Domestic Assistants support clients to maintain independence by providing domestic assistance, general housekeeping, meal preparation and social support.
The role involves travelling between clients' homes, following a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app, so a reliable vehicle and ability to work autonomously are essential.
What's on offer
$***** per hour + super.
Travel allowance of $1.03 per km.
Provided with a mobile phone for work purposes.

What we're looking for
A valid driver's licence with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition.
Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app.
Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills.
The role
Provide high-quality support that promotes client independence.
Deliver domestic assistance and general housekeeping tasks.
Prepare meals and support clients with basic nutrition needs.
Provide social support and assist clients to remain engaged in their community.
Follow a predetermined schedule while travelling between clients' homes.
Use a mobile app to access and follow digital schedules and care plans independently.
Maintain unrestricted access to a reliable vehicle for travel between visits.
